What you'll learn

How to Map Business Strategy to Technical Execution

Attendees will learn the Catalyst methodology for taking a business vision (like "improve customer onboarding") and translating it into a tangible, composable architecture roadmap. This involves facilitating workshops to define business outcomes and aligning them directly with specific APIs and integrations, ensuring technology directly serves a business goal rather than just connecting systems.

The "Center for Enablement" (C4E) Operating Model

A major focus is learning how to build, fund, and scale a Center for Enablement (C4E). Participants will learn the organizational change management required to move from siloed, project-based integration to a product-based, reusable model. This includes defining the roles, governance policies, and metrics needed to treat APIs as products and scale integration capabilities across the enterprise.

Structuring the Integration Project Lifecycle

The workshop teaches the specific playbooks and ceremonies used to structure an integration engagement from start to finish. This covers how to conduct discovery, prioritize an integration backlog, define "Minimal Viable Product" (MVP) for integrations, and successfully hand off a project to operations, ensuring consistency, speed, and reusability across the entire delivery lifecycle.

What you'll learn

The Catalyst Blueprint for Business-Aligned Integration

You will learn the structured framework for rapidly translating high-level business goals into a technical integration strategy. In this condensed format, the focus is on the essential "how-to": facilitating discovery sessions to identify critical business outcomes and immediately mapping them to a practical, API-led architecture roadmap that delivers measurable value.

Kickstarting the Center for Enablement (C4E)

This workshop teaches the fundamentals of establishing a Center for Enablement (C4E) model quickly. You will learn the core principles of organizational change, the essential roles required to start, and the governance frameworks needed to move from a fragmented approach to a scalable, product-based integration model, focusing on the critical first steps to get started.

Accelerating Delivery with Catalyst Playbooks

You will learn how to apply the essential Catalyst playbooks to structure an integration project from end-to-end within an accelerated timeline. This includes prioritizing a backlog for quick wins, defining a "Minimum Viable Product" (MVP) for your integration, and executing the key delivery ceremonies that ensure speed, consistency, and reusability without sacrificing quality.

What you'll learn

The Catalyst Mindset: Bridging Business & IT

You will learn the core philosophy of how to align integration projects with tangible business outcomes. This session focuses on the "why" and "what" of Catalyst—understanding how to discover business goals, identify value streams, and frame integration not as a technical task, but as a strategic business enabler.

Introduction to the Center for Enablement (C4E)

You will gain a foundational understanding of the C4E operating model. The workshop explains what a C4E is, the key roles involved (such as architects, developers, and business stakeholders), and how this model drives reuse, governance, and scalability across an organization's integration efforts.

Overview of Key Catalyst Playbooks

You will be introduced to the essential Catalyst playbooks and methodologies. This includes a high-level walkthrough of how to structure an integration engagement—from initial discovery and roadmap planning to delivery and handoff—giving you a ready-to-use framework for approaching integration projects more effectively.

What People Are Saying

Discover how our course has transformed the careers of professionals like you.

My role is to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and that they actually solve the business problem. The MuleSoft Catalyst exam equipped me with the tools to do this effectively in an API-led world. I learned how to facilitate discovery workshops, identify key metrics for success, and anticipate common pitfalls in organizational change. The focus on stakeholder management and building a governance model from the outset is pure gold. This isn't a technical certification; it's a leadership certification for the API economy.
Sarah Johnson

IT Program Manager

Coming from a hands-on MuleSoft development background, I understood the platform's capabilities, but I struggled to articulate the bigger picture to clients. Studying for the Catalyst certification was a game-changer. It gave me a structured methodology—the MuleSoft Catalyst Framework—to assess maturity, define clear outcomes, and build a roadmap that aligns IT delivery with business goals. I'm no longer just answering technical questions; I'm guiding C-level executives through their digital transformation journey. It's the most valuable credential for any consultant on the MuleSoft platform.
Maria Rodriguez

Senior MuleSoft Consultant

As an architect, I've designed countless integration solutions. The MuleSoft Catalyst exam forced me to think from the perspective of the business and the project's success factors. The questions on establishing a Center for Enablement (C4E), calculating ROI, and navigating organizational change were incredibly insightful. It's not enough to have a technically sound API; you need to ensure it's adopted, governed, and delivering measurable value. This certification is a must for any leader looking to champion a composable enterprise strategy.
